Most people think Antarctica is out of reach. Too remote. Too extreme. Too far outside the kind of travel they can actually plan.

It isn't and Dream Plan Pack's Antarctica Expedition for January 7–19, 2028 is proof.

This isn't a rugged adventure trip where you rough it for bragging rights. It's a 6-star polar expedition aboard Scenic Eclipse, one of the most purpose-built ultra-luxury vessels in the world, designed to carry no more than 200 guests into one of the most extraordinary places on the planet.

Scenic Eclipse

Here's what the journey actually looks like.

You Start in Argentina

The expedition begins in Buenos Aires, where you arrive on Day 1 and settle in before the adventure begins.

On Day 2, your flight to Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world is included. From there, you board Scenic Eclipse and the real journey begins.

Days 3 and 4 are spent at sea as you cross the Drake Passage toward the polar circle.

It's your time to settle into the ship, explore the spa, meet your fellow travelers, and begin to feel the scale of where you're headed.

Six Days in Antarctica

Days 5 through 10 are spent in Antarctica itself.

Six full days among glaciers, icebergs, and wildlife that exists nowhere else on Earth.

The ship's Discovery Team leads Zodiac excursions that bring you right to the shoreline.

You can kayak through Antarctic waters, descend in the custom-designed Scenic Neptune submersible, or take one of the ship's two helicopters up for an aerial view of the polar landscape.

The constantly shifting weather means no two days look the same.

Wildlife is everywhere. Humpback whales surface alongside the ship. Penguin colonies, gentoo, chinstrap, Adélie go about their lives completely unbothered by your presence.

It's the kind of thing you take hundreds of photos of and still feel like you didn't capture it right.

The Ship Matches the Destination

Scenic Eclipse doesn't ask you to trade comfort for adventure.

Every suite has a private verandah and comes with dedicated butler service. The crew-to-guest ratio is nearly 1:1. Gratuities, Wi-Fi, premium beverages, and all onboard dining are included.

Dining spans up to 10 different culinary experiences, from relaxed to formal.

The Senses Spa covers nearly 6,000 square feet. There's a gym, a Pilates studio, and vitality pools.

You arrive in one of the world's most extreme environments and never have to sacrifice the experience.

You Cross Two Continents

One of the things that surprises people most about this trip is what they're actually checking off.

Antarctica is Continent Seven for most travelers. But this expedition also includes time in Argentina, Buenos Aires on either end, and the option to add pre- or post-cruise stays to extend your South American experience.

Two continents. One trip.

The Investment

All Verandah Suites start from $16,827 per person. A non-refundable 20% deposit plus a $200 Group Design Fee secures your seat. Flights from the U.S. to Argentina are not included, Dionne can help you plan those as part of your full trip design.

Why Book Through Dream Plan Pack

Dionne Welsh has built Dream Plan Pack around one principle: the trip should be exactly what you need it to be. That means handling the logistics, knowing the ships, and managing every detail between deposit and departure so you can focus on the experience.

If Antarctica has been on your list, January 2028 is a real date with a real ship and real seats available now.
