Iceland sits at the top of a lot of travel lists. It also sits at the top of the list of trips people keep postponing because the planning feels overwhelming.

Where do you stay?

How do you get between places?

What if the weather doesn't cooperate?

Dream Plan Pack's 2027 Iceland Group Expedition solves all of that.

August 1–6, 2027. Six days. A fully guided motorcoach tour with Dionne and Steve Welsh traveling alongside the group the entire time.

Iceland waterfalls

Here's what the trip actually covers.

Reykjavík First

The tour begins in Reykjavík, Iceland's capital, with a guided city tour that takes in two of its most recognizable landmarks: Hallgrímskirkja Church, the striking concrete tower visible from nearly anywhere in the city, and Harpa Concert Hall, the glass-and-steel waterfront building whose geometric façade has become one of the most photographed structures in Iceland.

You'll stay at Fosshotel Reykjavík, well-positioned in the city for easy exploration.

The Golden Circle

No Iceland itinerary would be complete without the Golden Circle, and Dream Plan Pack's tour covers all three anchor points.

Þingvellir National Park is where the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates meet, you can walk between two continents in a single step.

Strokkur Geyser erupts roughly every five to ten minutes.

Gullfoss Waterfall drops two tiers into a glacial canyon with a roar you feel before you hear it.

The Golden Circle day also includes a greenhouse lunch at Friðheimar Tomato Farm, a working farm that uses geothermal energy to grow tomatoes year-round and serves a surprisingly great tomato-based menu.

South Coast and Waterfalls

Iceland's south coast delivers some of the most dramatic scenery on the island.

The tour includes Skógafoss and Seljalandsfoss, two waterfalls with completely different personalities.

Skógafoss is wide and thunderous; Seljalandsfoss is one you can walk behind, if you don't mind getting a little wet.

Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach follows: dark volcanic sand, basalt columns, and North Atlantic waves that crash with more force than they look.

This is one of those spots that photographs look dramatic but can't fully prepare you for the real thing.

Glacier Country

The final stretch heads east into glacier territory.

Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon is one of Iceland's most iconic sights, a lake filled with icebergs that have calved from the Breiðamerkurjökull glacier, drifting slowly toward the sea.

Just across the road, Diamond Beach earns its name: chunks of ice wash ashore on black sand and catch the light like polished glass.

Skaftafell National Park offers wilderness views and the kind of scale that recalibrates your sense of distance. The LAVA Center provides context for all of it , an immersive exhibit on Iceland's volcanic and geological history that makes the landscape make sense.

The Details

The trip is six days and five nights with accommodations across three properties: Fosshotel Reykjavík, Stracta Hotel Mosfell, and Fosshotel Núpar.

Ten meals are included, breakfasts, lunches, and dinners as noted, along with a welcome drink and farewell dinner.

All guided sightseeing and admissions per the itinerary are covered.

Pricing starts at $4,155 per person (double occupancy). Single occupancy options are available.

A $25 non-refundable deposit holds your seat, with a $250 deposit due within 30 days.

Why Group Travel Works for Iceland

Iceland is a country best seen by car or coach, distances between highlights are real, and weather changes fast.

A guided motorcoach tour means someone else handles the routing, the timing, and the logistics every day.

Dionne and Steve will be on the trip, which means you have experienced travel professionals in the group from Day 1 through Day 6.

For travelers who want to experience Iceland fully without building a complicated itinerary from scratch, this is how you do it.
