The American West is one of those places that stops you in your tracks. Standing at the rim of a geyser field in Yellowstone, watching a bison cross the road in the Tetons, looking up at the faces carved into Mount Rushmore, these are the moments that remind you why you travel in the first place.
We designed this trip the same way we design all of our hosted experiences: small group, expert guide, no wasted days. You will never feel like you are on a bus tour. You will feel like you are exploring with friends who have done the homework so you can be fully present.

Day By Day Itinerary
Day 1 Arrive in Rapid City, South Dakota - Settle in and meet your fellow travelers at a welcome dinner tonight.
Day 2 Crazy Horse and Mount Rushmore Memorials - Stand before the monumental faces carved into the Black Hills, then experience the powerful story of Crazy Horse Memorial — a tribute still being carved today.
Day 3 Badlands park & Deadwood -Explore the otherworldly landscape of the Badlands, then step into the legend of Deadwood, one of the most famous frontier towns in the West.
Day 4 Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument - Cody - Walk the grounds of Little Bighorn Battlefield, one of the most significant and sobering sites in American history, then continue to the Western gateway town of Cody.
Day 5 - 6 Yellowstone National Park - Two full days inside one of the most remarkable places on Earth. Erupting geysers. Prismatic hot springs. Thundering waterfalls. Bison, wolves, and elk in their natural habitat.
Day 7 Grand Teton National Park - Jackson - Drive south into Grand Teton, where jagged peaks rise straight up from the valley floor. Spend the afternoon in Jackson, a mountain town with serious Western character.
Day 8 Jackson - Your day, your way - Your choice of included excursion. A whitewater float, wildlife watching at dawn, a scenic horseback ride, pick what fits you.
Day 9 Salt Lake City Utah - Journey south for a final night together in Salt Lake City.
Day 10 Depart Salt Lake City - Safe travels home and a camera roll that is going to take a while to go through.

You will stand in front of Mount Rushmore and feel the scale of it.
You will walk into Yellowstone and realize no photograph has ever done it justice.
You will drive through Grand Teton and go completely quiet because there is nothing to say, the mountains say everything.
And woven through all of it: the history. Little Bighorn. Deadwood. Crazy Horse. The stories of the people who lived here, fought here, and shaped what America became.
